Episode 111 - The One With Mrs. Bing
Monica and Phoebe distract an attractive guy who then gets hit by a car and ends up in a coma. They both take care of him in the hospital but begin getting very competitive and possessive over him. Once the guy wakes up he just thanks the two friends and leaves them stunned as both of them had hoped for more to come out of this.
Meanwhile, Chandler's romance novelist mom is on Jay Leno and embarrasses Chandler with her forwardness. Afterwards, she comes to New York to visit him and takes everyone out to dinner. There, Ross gets so drunk over the fact that Paolo has returned from Rome that he ends up kissing Mrs. Bing and both are being caught by Joey.
Later, Chandler's mom gives Rachel advice on writing romance novels. Ross tells a very upset Chandler about the kiss but convinces him to confront his mother about his feelings.
